PROSPECTS OF USING AUTONOMOUS ELECTRIC TRAINS WITH ONBOARD STORAGE STORES

Purpose. Improving the efficiency of passenger traffic on non-electrified sections railway Ukraine by optimizing structure and creating principles for building a traction electric drive promising autonomous train powered engines from system onboard storage electricity. Methods. The methodological basis study are general theoretical provisions approach electrical engineering, mechanics, theory machines converters. basic management basics decision used. Results. construction perspective with power supply energy devices formulated. functional scheme is offered, analysis work in modes regenerative braking carried out. mass parameters two types devices, namely electrochemical batteries supercapacitors, have been determined. requirements to automatic control It shown that future use battery trains will be technically possible economically justified Ukrzaliznytsia.
